Hyper Crush & Alexandra Burke

HYPER CRUSH is an LA-based Electro-Pop/Hip-Hop band, consisting of rapper Danny Fontaine, female vocalist Holly Valentine, and DJ/key-tarist Preston Moronie.

Although Hyper Crush has been around for a few years, only recently have their songs started BLOWING UP across mainstream radio. Their first big hit, “KEEP UP,” was released in September 2009 and did extremely well on dance radio stations and with club play. Another popular track, “KICK US OUT,” was released in November 2010, and peaked at #6 on the BILLBOARD Dance/Club Play Chart.

Fast forward to the present and “NIGHT WAVE,” Hyper Crush’s new album, released on Feb. 7. NIGHT WAVE is equal parts 3OH!3, FAR EAST MOVEMENT, and LMFAO, mixed with the perfect amount of sexy female vocal hooks. AVAILABLE NOW!

The winner of the UK series THE X-FACTOR (Season 5)–which perhaps explains her greater recognition across the pond–ALEXANDRA BURKE released her debut single “HALLELUJAH” in 2008.

The TOP-SELLING song in the UK for that year, it also holds the European record for most single sales over a 24-hour period! Her launch album, “Overcome,” debuted at number one in the UK, with four number one singles in the UK and Ireland. Get ready for round two! Alexandra gets “DOWN AND DIRTY!,” the first single from her sophomore album, “ELEPHANT.” The song features international DJ sensation ERICK MORILLO (from the 1993 hit “I LIKE TO MOVE IT”).

The artist says the album title is a metaphor for relationships (as in the expression “there’s an elephant in the room”). Burke told “Digital Spy,” “Everyone has been through something in relationships; whether it be with a loved one, a partner, or family members, where something needs to be discussed.” The music video for “Elephant” is online now, and the single drops on March 11.
